Poundbury Ladies meet in Poundbury’s Brownsword Hall on the third Tuesday of each month (except August) when we are treated to a variety of talks and presentations, all enjoyed with tea, biscuits and conversation afterwards!
Prior to lockdown, June outings to attractions such as Bath and Powderham Castle were organised. And in December we enjoy a Christmas party followed by a festive lunch in January at Brownsword Hall.
You do not have to live in Poundbury to join us, we have members from much farther afield. Non-members are also very welcome to come along to our meetings.
All our ladies have a say into the running of the group and are encouraged to recommend a speaker or guest of potential interest.
Our annual membership fee is currently £25 (running from January till December). This is collected at our February AGM and covers the cost of hiring Brownsword Hall etc. We ask visitors to pay £5 per meeting, which will be refunded if annual membership is taken out.
